Since 1 October 2025, city bus transport in Ružomberok has undergone a significant change. Following a public tender, the new carrier Umbrella City Lines SK began operating the MAD (city bus) network. Our company TransData was a key partner of the carrier, supplying the tariff and information system for the vehicles, equipping specialised workstations at customer centres, and delivering other intelligent software solutions.
Another major change in MAD Ružomberok came just a month later.
ENTRY INTO THE INTEGRATED TRANSPORT SYSTEM (IDS PLUS)
Integration into IDS PLUS: The vehicles are fully prepared for integration into the Integrated Transport System of the Žilina Region (IDS PLUS). This means simple combined travel with a single ticket, clearer connection information in the IDS Plus mobile app, and greater comfort when moving around the entire region.
CONVENIENCE AT YOUR FINGERTIPS: ONLINE CARD MANAGEMENT
UBIAN e-shop: Passengers can conveniently top up and manage their transport cards online through the UBIAN e-shop. Flexibility and convenience for the modern passenger.

Integration of 12 vehicles: We ensured the delivery and complete installation of modern hardware. The system, which fully complies with the latest standards of the city and the integrator, ensures:
- Accurate real-time ticket processing.
- Transmission of operational data from vehicles.
- Intelligent management of tariff data.
TransFleet and TransOffice: For the carrier Umbrella City Lines SK, we implemented key management systems. These enable efficient vehicle management, operation monitoring, and real-time management of travel and tariff data.
This project is an excellent example of a comprehensive and successful modernisation of urban transport. Thanks to TransData, Ružomberok gained not only top-tier technology and simple payment solutions, but above all an interconnected system of services that makes everyday travel easier and brings passengers significantly more comfort and flexibility.
